Sacred Heart Fellowship Hall
History
Sacred Heart Community is deeply rooted in the Brooklyn neighborhood, with a long, rich history. The legacy began in 1893 with construction of a beautiful little church built on pillars cut from trees on the property. A Rectory was soon added to house the Benedictine priests who originally served our community, followed by a school, hall and convent. The school closed in 1992 and the school building as well as the hall were demolished in 2005. The community made do with meeting in the Rectory basement ever since.
Fast forward to 2014 when we began a capital campaign to fund a new gathering space! This tiny parish was able to raise the funds and complete the building process in five short years. We are very proud of our newly finished Fellowship Hall, designed by parishioners with input from the community. Stop by and see for yourself!
Rental Opportunities
The Fellowship Hall is a state-of-the-art facility available for community rentals. It features 5000 sf of natural light-filled space, room for 234 guests, a commercial kitchen and is fully ADA accessible. We look forward to hosting business meetings, family gatherings, receptions, parties, retreats, workshops, seminars, reunions and more! Imagine your wedding reception in this gorgeous hall, conveniently located on the church property.
